SUMMARY:Garden Works - Gr 3-6
DESCRIPTION:AFTER SCHOOL PICK UP PROTOCOL\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWEDNESDAYS – AFTER SCHOOL\n\n\n\nBe a green thumb and make the world a more beautiful place. Children will work individually and in a group setting; students will have a little gardening 101. They will beautifully decorate & name their plants; they will plant & learn about how to maintain a small garden in their own homes. Herbs to spice things up\, Flowers to beatify\, and edible treasures from their very own garden.  (*Most materials are included). \n\n\n\nNote: Participants are asked to provide their own apron or old shirt. \n\n\n\n20 students \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInstructor: Sue Brotherwood\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMUST READ: After School Supervision Program\n\n\n\nWe can no longer supervise children after their NON-SPORT after-school programs. This will be accomplished by increasing knowledge and skills for all those participating using the highest standards and in an environment of learning whilst encouraging respect for each other. \n\n\n\nNote:A Gi is required attire for all participants enrolled in this activity. The cost of the Gi\, belts and certificates are built into the program cost. \n\n\n\n20 students \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInstructor: Andrew Watson (Dojo Studio)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMUST READ: Homework Assistance Program\n\n\n\nWe are pleased to announce the return of the “Homework Assistance Program” offered to children enrolled in the after-school SPORTS activities ONLY (Soccer\, Hockey/Lacrosse\, Martial Arts\, and Basketball) on the day(s) for which they are registered (Mon-Thurs). \n\n\n\nThis will allow you to keep your younger children (grades 1-3) in after school supervision once their activity ends. We however require that ALL children who are enrolled in sports programs be picked up by 6:00.
