DESCRIPTION:AFTER SCHOOL PICK UP PROTOCOL\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTHURSDAYS – AFTER SCHOOL\n\n\n\nThis class will offer students an introduction to guitar. Students will be learning basic skills\, reading music\, playing as a group\, and practicing proper technique in a fun environment. In general\, the course will stress creativity\, while offering a strong musical foundation and wide exposure to guitar. \n\n\n\n3:55-4:55pm Grades 1-6 \n\n\n\n25 students per group \n\n\n\n*The students will be allowed to bring the instruments home\, but they will need to leave a $100 deposit\, to be returned when guitar is returned in good working condition at the end of the session. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInstructor: Adam\n\n\n\nROOM: TBD

Not only are they offering Roslyn families a reduced rate for the activity\, but the 20 weeks will be divided into two blocks where your kids will get to discover different kinds of science activities: \n\n\n\nBlock 1 – Crazy Chemworks (10 weeks)\n\n\n\nSynopsis : Fun\, educational\, and hands-on workshops where Junior Scientists will discover tricks and techniques of a wacky Mad Science Laboratory. They will become experts in sticky chemistry and in different states of matter. The wonders of Dry Ice will be explored. Who knows what can glow in the dark? Don’t miss this opportunity to jump on board this great science excursion! \n\n\n\nBlock 2 – Mad Lab (10 weeks)\n\n\n\nSynopsis : Come with us on a trip across the world of science! We will explore the marvels of aerodynamics and flight. You will learn about gravity and centripetal forces. Experiment with cool chemical reactions and take a test kit home.
